This family business founded in 1997 has been a great source for making the centerpiece of the room not only gorgeous but delicious. Colorado Rose Cake Co. is a home based business, catering to weddings only, and we love being a part of such an important celebration of love. Heidi and Kyle are the owners and a husband and wife team. Heidi has worked with her mother, Marci, for the last 16 years perfecting her craft of cakery. Kyle is an artist through and through and has an exciting background in all types of arts and fabrication. We are excited to be a part your big day and create a beautiful and delicious cake and carry on what Colorado Rose Cake Co is known for, beauty, delicious cake and a great experience.
Below are options included with the Colorado Inclusive package:
Cake for 100 guests 6” – 10” – 14” Tiers
- Round tiers with choice of design
- Three Layers of filling in each tier
- Free top tier for first anniversary
- Choice of Flavors, Fillings and Icing
Cake Flavors: Golden Vanilla, Butter Chocolate, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Butter Yellow, Marble, Almond Poppy Seed, Lemon, Lemon Poppy Seed, Lavender, Cinnamon Bun, Spiced Chai, Pumpkin, Banana Chocolate Chip, Butter Pecan, and Strawberry.
Fillings: Raspberry, Strawberry, Lemon, Cherry, Apricot, Apple, Orange Blossom, Mocha Mousse, Chocolate Mousse, Vanilla Pastry Cream, Lemon Cream, and Raspberry Cream.
Icing: Buttercream
Additional Items and Upgrades: Upgrade design and specialty decorating available, select desserts upon request.
About Colorado Rose
Colorado Rose Cake Company is a unique home based business specializing only in wedding cakes serving Longmont, Estes Park, Berthoud, Loveland, Fort Collins and select surrounding locations.
The designs included in the all-inclusive package are on my Simply Elegant page in the photo gallery found on my website. You are not limited to any of these designs and may certainly choose any design that you like from any source. There could be an upgrade charge. I do not count the top tier into the number of servings since, traditionally, it is kept for the first anniversary. You may, of course, serve it for additional servings…or eat it as a midnight snack or breakfast.
We offer a complimentary consultation and tasting for two (up to 4 with notice) with times available during the week, most days, starting at 10am and last appointment from 3pm-4pm. Saturdays (November-April) around wedding cake deliveries, and select Sundays. All consultations are by appointment only. Ideally, to ensure more available consultation times, order your wedding cakes no later than April since consultation times during the summer wedding season are limited. Consultations are scheduled for one hour. Designs covered in by the all-inclusive-package may be found on our website under the simply elegant designs. You are welcome to bring any design ideas that you have found from any source. We will have our albums for you to look through for additional inspiration. We will serve an assortment of cake sample combinations of our choice, chosen to best represent our flavor selection. Additional consultations would be $25. With two weeks’ notice, we can accommodate special flavor requests for which we charge $35 prepaid and provide an 8″ single layer with filling(s) that you may take with you.

A few helpful tips and notes
What about fresh flowers on my cake?
Fresh floral accents for your wedding cake can be ordered from your florist so they match the rest of your wedding. We will place any flowers on the cake to complete the design and do ask that they be left on the cake table for placement. Colorado Rose Cake Company, LLC will not be responsible for any damage done to the cake as a result of floral placement by someone other than Colorado Rose Cake Company. Accents of fresh fruit, chocolate dipped strawberries, or sugarpaste flowers are available at an additional charge.
Our thoughts on a Groom's Cake?
Amid the bride’s feminine wedding plans with her dress, flowers, invitations, and wedding cake, the groom’s cake provides a way for the groom to make a statement of his own personality. Whether served the evening before at the rehearsal dinner, allowing a way to break the ice, or sitting proudly next to the bride’s cake at the reception, it will bring the groom into the spotlight, even if only for a moment. The groom’s cake is most often a rich chocolate confection, or another favorite flavor of the groom’s, in some type of design representing his favorite interest such as a school symbol, car, airplane, or bike. Whether it is a bride surprising her groom or something they have chosen together, it is sure to bring a smile to their guests’ faces and leave a wonderful memory.
Gluten Free Cakes?
We do not offer the entire wedding cake as gluten free. But we can make Gluten Free single layered cakes for a small amount of guest that may need gluten free.
For the bride or groom with a dietary restriction, the top tier can be a specialty cake. We offer a small individual cake tucked behind the tiered cake to use in the cake cutting ceremony.
5″ Single Layer… serves 3-4… $24
6″ Single Layer… serves 4-6… $32
7″ Single Layer… serves 6-8… $40
8″ Single Layer… serves 6 to 10… $50
*NOTE: We are NOT a dedicated gluten free facility. Even though we take every possible precaution, if the gluten allergy is severe, we strongly recommend any gluten free products needed be supplied by another facility that is dedicated to gluten free only.

How and When is my cake delivered to Lionscrest?
Wedding cakes are delivered approximately 1 to 2 hours before the start of the wedding ceremony or reception, taking location conditions into consideration.
